absurdity

this title reminds me that our (mine and Jo's) english prof pronounced this word "abzzurd". this struck me as humourous at the time, and still does.

what strikes me as absurd this week:

1. the surreal "discussion" i had with "that slug" (he will henceforth be known as this, again, as he reconfirmed his status) yesterday. said "discussion" culminated with me saying, in an admittedly slightly raised, pissed off, voice: "When you were little, didn't your mother tell you to put a sweater on when you were cold, not turn the thermostat up?!?!?!".

i'd be lying if i said it didn't feel damn good.

2. morrissey's "i've forgiven jesus".

3. finding out i'm working on a project to do with albumin when i read it in a meeting agenda.
