you'd think i had no work to do
things that have struck me as humourous recently:
1. the fact that i always wanted to have BIG hair, pretty much for as long as i can remember, and i think i finally have it (if the fact that three people have independently said i had big hair/an afro in the last 2 weeks is anything to go by, and i think it may be). woo.
2. the fact that i found a pebble (or at least i hope it was a pebble, god help me) in my sticky bun from starbucks in edinburgh over the weekend and, after removing it and staring at it for a bit, i ATE THE REST OF THE STICKY BUN. what have i become?!
3. the fact that a friend of mine (you know who you are, and for the record i shall henceforth refer to you as a former friend) told me, not in so many words, that i was big. yep. i laughed to keep myself from crying.
4. pretty much everything that comes out of my flatmate iain's mouth. good lord, that boy is funny.
i told clarence the other day that since i've been writing this thing, i've started to think in blog format. my thoughts have taken on a clipped, incomplete sentence, ascerbic quality that they didn't have before. he admitted that this is the way his mind works as well. i suppose this is not a bad thing. i do find that i grin/giggle at random times though, and this could prove to be a bad thing in the near future. usually i am alone with this happens.
'yay' moment for this week: clarence and i are going to go check out Moro (spanish restaurant in Islington) next friday. joy abounds at this delicious prospect.

claudia!! i've been thinking about you lately! your ears must have been burning.......
i KNOW (re. starbucks). i had thought the same thing. my friend james was kind enough to drive me around edinburgh, and to see the new scottish parliament, so i couldn't really express my fundamental opposition to his choice of coffee joint.
