i am a complete waste of space today. i'm surprised i got anything done (which, incidently, i did). i'm sure i could have gotten MORE done. but i digress.

few things:

1. being single in the run up to valentine's day SUCKS. for once i want to get a stuffed animal or tulips from someone other than me. tantamount to a request, i'd say. ok kids, who'll step up?
2. what do these women know that I don't? i've had my ass pinched or, let's be honest, grabbed on two occasions in the last 28 days. by women. the one last night seemed incredulous when i responded that i wasn't, in fact, a lesbian. what gives?
3. i can be a bitter bitter cow sometimes. there, i said it. i feel better.
4. one of the lecturers at work just asked if i'd like to take his place at a conference in london on cardiovascular disease prevention that he now can't attend. so nice! see, there ARE nice people here (comment directed at andrea).
5. lists are fun. i missed them.
6. leaving now to meet marni and leslie to see "closer". yay. should be good.
