new religion

i feel like it has been absolutely ages since i wrote anything on my blog. i think that is perhaps due to one or more of the following:

1) i handed in my dissertation 2 Sept (!!!)
2) i started working full-time for my supervisor 3 Sept
3) i got a job offer for cambridge (woah. i'm still on shock over that one.)
4) i must therefore find a flat,
5) sort out where i'll stay after getting back from canada, before i start my new job,
6) open a new bank account (grrrr),
7) do about 2 months worth of work in 5 weeks,
8) say goodbye to people who are leaving,
9) and maintain my sanity.

I may or may not have yelled at one of the guys at touch rubgy last night out of sheer exhaustion. Also, it may have been more like 3 guys.

Despite the craziness (which, sadly, is a bit of a running theme of my life of late), i am very very excited about coming home for 3 weeks. sigh. about damn time.

ooo...and i bought a dress for my cousin lizzie's wedding. an impulse buy of the highest degree. i really think every woman needs an all-lace dress the colour of her eyes. woo!
