hawley and catherine ROCK. got a package AND a postcard today. hawley's was the new spades. CD called 'burning on fumes' (formerly known as The James McKenty Band, before being known as James McKenty and the Spades. whew. next they'll be an unpronouncable symbol...). anyhoo, it's good, and it's helping me get through my first day with a hangover in a long while. also in this birthday package was a pig's ear t-shirt!! yay:) wish it was my b-day so i'd have an excuse to wear it today. as it happens, it was sent 298 days after my birthday. might wear it later tho'.

cath sent me the postcard from wales. her sis is getting married! woah. boy do i feel loved today. also, old.

lord help me. i just had one of those 15 minute conversations with someone against your will where you don't even known the guy's name until 10 minutes into his soliloquy on stochastic modelling. for the love. i've got a dissertation to finish here.
